The DELTA 50-324 Mobile Base for 22-680 and 22-681 lets you easily and safely move your machines out of the way when not in use, so you'll be able to maximize the space in your shop. The 50-324 fits the DELTA 22-680 and 22-681 Planers and adds rolling portability. The mobile machine base features a foot-operated control lever that lets you easily raise and lower the base for either moving or locking it in place. When lowered into position, the base has adjustable foot pads to ensure even contact with the floor. It is made of durable steel and is backed by a 2-year warranty.

I had to reinforce the plate with metal I had on hand. This planer is heavy, but the stand is supposed be able to carry the load. I bought this base for use with my 15" Delta Planer. My repair works, but only good enough to get by. It does not have near heavy enough steel on the plate where the swiveling wheel attaches. My stand's plate bent under the weight of the planer; resulting in a condition of a "unmovable" planer. The product must have not been tested with a planer attached in real workshop conditions. I nearly always am satisfied with Delta products, this is the exception.
